The foundation is AutoCut (in all plans): the AI detects who is speaking and switches to the matching camera – perfect for podcasts, interviews and panels. The AI director (STUDIO) goes much further: it directs like a pro, with visual rhythm, reaction shots and format-appropriate switching.

Everything runs locally on your devices – the image analysis happens right on the camera iPhones, nothing is uploaded to a cloud. Your show stays on your own Wi-Fi.

The three directing styles

    Talk – for conversations

    Follows the conversation like an experienced talk-show director: to the person speaking, with reaction shots of the listeners in between, no hectic switching. For podcasts, interviews and panels.

    Tutorial – for hands-on formats

    Detects the moment your hands start working and switches to the detail camera – back to the host camera when you explain. For cooking shows, workshops, crafting, product demos.

    Concert – for music

    Cuts through the angles to the rhythm of the music – switching on the beat, no rigid intervals. For concerts, DJ sets and stage shows.

    Override anytime

    You stay in charge: tapping a camera preview puts it live immediately – the AI director takes over again afterwards. Direct on the Director app on iPad or right on the iPhone.

    AutoCut as the entry point

    Already in SOLO and PRO, AutoCut switches automatically to the speaking person’s camera – the easiest way to lively multi-camera shows without a director.

FAQ

What’s the difference between AutoCut and the AI director?
AutoCut (all plans) detects the person speaking and cuts to them – one job, one trigger. The AI director (STUDIO) truly directs: it picks shots by visual rhythm and format style, shows reactions, cuts on the beat – in three selectable styles.
Does the AI need an internet connection?
No. The image analysis runs entirely locally on the iPhones – nothing is uploaded to a cloud. You only need internet for the stream itself.
Can I step in when I don’t like a cut?
Anytime: tapping another camera puts it live immediately. The AI director then resumes its work – you lead, it assists.
Which style fits my format?
Talk for anything conversational (podcast, interview, panel), Tutorial for formats where hands work (cooking, workshop, demos), Concert for music and stage. You can switch styles at any time during the show.
What does the AI director cost?
