Youth sports streaming is possibly the most grateful streaming there is: the audience is small, but nobody watches more attentively than parents and grandparents. And the requirements are modest – a single iPhone on a tripod is entirely enough to start. Booster clubs and team parents run this, not broadcast engineers.

FAQ

Are we allowed to stream youth games at all?
With consent from parents or guardians and in coordination with the school or club: yes. The private, unlisted stream is the right frame for it – it appears in no search, only families with the link can watch. Many programs extend their existing photo/video consent forms to cover streaming.
Is a single iPhone really enough?
Yes. One elevated wide shot at the halfway line shows the whole game. More cameras make it prettier, not more necessary – and they can join anytime (PRO: up to 3, over the hotspot, no router).
Who runs it during the game?
After the start: practically nobody. The camera runs, one parent updates the score lower third with a tap. A different family takes the job each week – anyone learns it in minutes.
What about weak reception at the field?
For dropouts there is uninterrupted streaming in STUDIO mode: the LiveShow server buffers the broadcast and bridges dead zones – the grandparents never notice.
